Carroll County Girl Scout Brownie Troop 337 would like to thank the following for helping us with our Dec. 1 fund-raiser at A Christmas Carroll.
Thanks to Kevin Craig and the group that helped by allowing us to use the tent, and those that arranged the assembly and had it assembled. Thanks so much. We, as well as the girls, greatly appreciate all you do and have done for our troop.
To J.J. Ward, thanks for always being our “right hand” – it does not go unnoticed. We are lucky to have you as our friend and appreciate all the hard work you put into all of our projects.
To our spouses, parents and families, we appreciate you giving so much of your time and being patient while we give ours. We are grateful for all you do and give, and are so lucky that we have your support in all of our endeavors.
To those of you in this wonderful community, our girls experienced first hand what a wonderful, giving community that they live in. Within a few hours we were able to collect enough money for the girls who attended to have an overnight stay at Paoli Peaks next month, and enough for a pizza party too.
Thanks for all the purchases and donations; we couldn’t be happier to be able to do this for the girls and you each played a big part in that. Additionally, thanks to all of those individuals who we purchased our raffle tickets during the last month for University of Kentucky basketball. All donations will go toward the girls’ trip to Savannah, Ga., in 2014.
David Cooper was the lucky winner. Congratulations to him. To the parents of our troop and the girls who came out, what can we say. We are grateful that you all see the need, and feel as passionately as we do, that we stay involved and try to keep our girls involved.
We cannot say enough about how appreciative we are to each and every one of you. Without you all this would not be possible.
Thanks to all who participated in making this successful. Our girls, parents and community rock.
Avona Mefford and
Christina McArter
