Girls’ golf 2-0 over Walton-Verona

The Lady Panthers defeated the Lady Bearcats twice with back-to-back victories at Fairway Golf Course in Owen County.

On Tuesday Aug. 16, the girls won 212-238, a season low. Quincy Hogan led the team, shooting a 44, followed by Taylor Hayden, 52; Elisha Rabago, 56; and Hannah McMahan, 60. Also competing were Ashli Childs, scoring 63; Ciara Hamilton, 66; and Jadyn Bailey, 67.

On Thursday, Hogan shot a 39, while Hannah McMahan shot a season-low 54. Taylor Hayden shot a 54, followed by Ashli Childs, 62; Ciara Hamilton, 63; and Jadyn Bailey, 65.
