The Trimble County High School girls tennis team played hard Friday and Monday, but the overall wins went to their opponents.
On Monday, April 27, the team earned two varsity wins and one junior varsity win against Frankfort High School. In JV play, Chelsea Scott and Elisabeth Moore defeated Frankfort, 8-6.
Kasi Fogle took a singles win with a score of 6-0, 6-0; she is 6-2 in match score wins on the season. Jayde Snelling and Helen Hines gave defeated Hannah Wilson and Andrea Koontz, 6-3, 6-4.
Frankfort won the match with a 3-2 team score
On Friday, April 24, the Lady Raiders went against South Oldham. Kasi Fogle won against Demi Bechloff in a 10-point tiebreaker.
Carly Reynolds was defeated by Isabel Andersen 1-6, 0-6. Shelby Copeland was defeated by Abbey Shields, 2-6, 0-6. In doubles, Kayla Windham and Kaylee Cook were defeated by Savannah Schippart and Alex Tolsdor, 1-6, 2-6. Jayde Snelling and Helen Hines were defeated, 0-6, 1-6.
