The 14th annual Owen and Carroll County Charity Golf Scramble to benefit the Kentucky Sheriffs’ Boys and Girls Ranch, was held Monday, Aug. 31, with Owen County Sheriff Zemer Hammond and Carroll County Sheriff Ben Smith hosting the event.

We send our heartfelt thanks to Sheriffs Hammond and Smith, the Owen and Carroll Sheriff’s Offices and all those helping for their support and efforts to raise money for children in Kentucky. Their support and help not only of this event, but of the ranch as a whole, ensures we continue to reach Kentucky’s youth in a positive manner.

The support of all those involved – from the golfers and those preparing and serving lunch to those sponsoring holes and donating gifts and prizes – will see that Owen and Carroll County youth, along with children from throughout Kentucky, are able to attend camp and continue to learn the values and morals we strive to teach. We send our heartfelt thanks to each of you.

Thanks again, for an outstanding tournament, and we look forward to seeing everyone at next year’s event.
