HANOVER, Ind. – Janice Arlene Aldridge Jones, 69, of Hanover died Sunday, July 27, 2008, at King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison, Ind.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, July 30, at the Morgan and Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive, Madison, with the Rev. Michael Cammack officiating. Burial will be in the Kent Cemetery near Kent, Ind.
Mrs. Jones was born Sept. 9, 1938, in Madison to Solan and Beatrice Royce Aldridge. She lived all of her life in Jefferson County and attended school there. She married Travis Doran Jones in July 1974 in Taswell, Tenn.
She enjoyed shopping, cleaning, yard sales, socializing and her church.
Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Kathy (Doug) Elsbury of Carrollton, Ky., and Beatrice (Tom) Coppage, Tonya Johnson and Vanessa (Darrell) Jones-Brinson all of Madison; a sister, Phyllis Wynn of Hanover; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents. she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Bob Wynn.
