In 1999, I was appointed to be District Court Judge for Carroll, Grant and Owen counties. This appointment was made by Gov. Patten to fill the vacancy when Judge Stephen Bates left to be our Circuit Court Judge.

For the past 11 years, I have been honored to serve as District Judge.

As you know, the district court handles a variety of cases, including but not limited to probate matters, small claims, traffic and misdemeanors and juvenile matters.
