Just like butter Trimble Raiders are on a roll

Trimble County opened up yet another can of… biscuits, last Friday night when the Raiders traveled to Owenton, for another flawless victory.

The Raiders and Owen County Rebels came into the game matching 2-6 records. The Owen team had hoped to celebrate Senior Night with a big win, enacting a bit of revenge for the Raiders 40-6 blowout against them on Trimble’s Senior Night last year.

The Raiders, however, showed everyone that size did not matter in a game that ultimately was a bit like the biblical tale ‘David and Goliath.’
