Kentucky Speedway hosts a Laps for Charity event

Speedway Children’s Charities and Kentucky Speedway is hosting the Laps for Charity benefit Sept. 20 from 6-8 p.m.

Participants can take three laps in their personal vehicle around the 1.5 mile superspeedway behind a pace vehicle for $30 and have their picture taken in Victory Lane for an additional $10.

Laps for Charity is open to the public and no reservations are required.

Drivers must be 18 years of age or older, and a valid driver’s license and proof of registration is required.

All occupants in the vehicle must wear a safety belt.

No passing; single file only.

Pace vehicle will set the speed limit.

Proceeds from Laps for Charity benefit the Kentucky Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities.
