A Trimble County man has been arrested after state police discovered a meth lab in his home at 71 Latta Road in Bedford.
Kentucky State Police troopers went to the home Tuesday, March 5, after receiving information about possible drug activity at the residence, according to a news release. After receiving permission to search the home, an active meth lab allegedly was discovered cooking in the back bedroom, according to police.
Troopers allegedly found four ounces of finished methamphetamine in the residence, along with several ingredients used in manufacturing the drug.
Darrell Jameson, 41, of Bedford was arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jameson was lodged at the Carroll County Detention Center.
Trooper Chad Johnson is leading the ongoing investigation.
