Luck just wasn’t on the Lady Panthers’ side in their road game against host Walton-Verona Friday night. The two teams were tied 23-23 heading into the fourth quarter, but the Lady Bearcats outscored their opponent 11-6 to win 34-29 on senior night.

The low-scoring game was a result of poor shooting, as both teams shot a dismal 22 percent from the field.

Senior Sarah Osborne scored 11 points on four of six shooting from the field and dished out two assists. Sophomore Hannah Devine also scored 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

The Lady Panthers were back in action Tuesday night in the first round of the district tournament against Gallatin County.
