League thanks volunteers

To the editor:

The Trimble County Youth Football League has wrapped up another fun season. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors for the many contributions we received throughout the season.

To the parents of our players/cheerleaders, for the dedication of your time, bringing the kids to practice and games, volunteering in the concession stand, running the chain gang and the other help you all offered throughout the season, thank you.

To our coaches, for your hours upon hours of working with these children, helping them to learn not only to play the game, but also to play it as a team, thank you. Your time is precious to our community youth leagues. You are providing great service to the youth of this area as role models, mentors and friends. Again, thank you.

Last, but not least, to those two special helpers, for making sure the field was painted and ready for play, for setting up practice equipment for our tackle group, for spending time helping us plan events, in short, for everything you have done for us throughout the season, thank you!

We could not have had such a successful season without help from all of you, and for that we are very grateful.
