Local police investigate burglaries in city, county

The Carrollton Police Department is investigating three burglaries that have occurred during the daytime hours.

The first was reported at 6:37 p.m. on Dec. 11, by Steve Taylor, 610 Taylor St., Carrollton. He returned home in the evening and noticed a 46-inch Toshiba television, a 26-inch Sanyo television, an electric guitar,  jewelry,  hand tools and some change were missing. The value is estimated at $2,500.
