Joshua Pence of Worthville, a freshman pre-nursing major, was named one of 400 students who are members of the Honors Program at Eastern Kentucky University.

Other local residents who have enrolled at EKU include Jayla Tomlinson, Devin Gray, Nicole Meadows and Brandon Rassman, all of Carrollton; Leah Chandler of Ghent; and Andrea Hardesty of Sanders.
