CARROLLTON, Ky. – Magnolia G. Perry, 90, of Carrollton died Monday, June 30, 2008, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 3, at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Ave., Carrollton, with the Rev. Joe Kindoll officiating. Burial was in English Cemetery.
Mrs. Perry was born June 20, 1918, in Bedford, KY., to the late Walter F. and Gertrude Ball Proctor. She was a homemaker and member of Cove Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Charles E. Perry, Carrollton; two daughters, Harriett Johnson and Maggie Burgin, both of Carrollton; two brothers, Walter Lee Proctor and Jim Proctor, both of Carrollton; a sister, Bessie Mahoney, Carrollton; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Perry (1968); two sons, Jimmy Ray Perry and Walter Thomas Perry; two brothers, Harry Tom Proctor and Charles “Chock” Proctor; two sisters, Claudia Crafton and Harriett Proctor.
Pallbearers were Donnie Ball, Chuck Webster, Hardy Stevens, James Burgin, Charlie Smith and John Proctor. Honorary pallbearer was Shaman Webster.
