Marion Patricia Benecke, 86

CARROLLTON, Ky.—Marion Patricia Benecke, 86, of Carrollton, died on Monday, May 21, 2012, at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 25, at noon at the St. John Catholic Church in Carrollton with the Rev. Kavungal Davy officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 24, from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Ave. in Carrollton. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, May 24, at the funeral home.

Survivors include six daughters, Roseann (Bob) Dunlap and Ann (Ron) Holloway both of Carrollton, Joanne (John) Thomas of Boise, Idaho, Patty Ann (Jeff) Royal of Cary Plantation, Maine, Mary Ann (Tom) Kurtz of Gulf Breeze, Fla., and Sue (Mick) McKamey of Colstrip, Mont.; four sons, Frank (Allie) Benecke of Billings, Mont., Mike (Laura) Benecke of Orangeburg, S.C., Bill (Grace) Benecke of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Woody Benecke of Portland, Ore.; 28 grandchildren; and 47 great-grandchildren.

Her parents, Frank and Florence (Thie) Springer; her husband, Eugene James Benecke; a son, Gene Benecke; and one grandchild preceded her in death.
