Marsh recognized with JCTC leadership award

 Three Jefferson Community and Technical College faculty and staff members were recognized for their leadership, achievements and dedication to the college at the KCTCS New Horizons Award Ceremony on May 14 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Louisville.

Each year, KCTCS recognizes individuals at each of the 16 colleges with the Administrative Staff Award, the Support Staff award and the Faculty Award of Excellence. One individual from each award is then chosen as the overall statewide award winner.

This year KCTCS and JCTC presented the staff awards to Mary Warford, Cristina Marsh and Terry Lutz. Marsh, adult education manager in Carrollton, was presented with the Support Staff Award. Under Marsh’s leadership, the Carroll County Adult Education program exceeded its 2011-12 enrollment and academic performance goals.
