NAMI group looks to form locally

-A A +A

Editor:

There is a national organization-National Alliance for Mental Illness, that is just awesome and has helped many people. We need this in Carroll County.

We are going to be offering a 12-week course starting on Thursday, March 6, from 6-8:30 p.m. upstairs in the old courthouse for families who have members who suffer from mental illness. It is free.

We are also trying to get a support group for these families. We are hoping to start the support group by Feb. 18, and from then on it will be held the third Tuesday of each month, at the old courthouse.
