‘Alice in Wonderland’

postponed to Feb. 26-27

The Trimble County High School Drama Club has postponed its stage presentation of the Lewis Carroll classic, “Alice in Wonderland,” originally set for this weekend, Feb. 12-13.

Showtimes are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Feb. 26-27, in the high school gymnasium. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students; children 5 and younger admitted free. Concessions will be available.

There’s still time to sign up for a free seminar hosted by editor Phyllis McLaughlin, set for 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at the Trimble County Public Library. McLaughlin will explain how to submit photos and news to the Trimble Banner. 

Anyone interested in providing the newspaper with information – perhaps regarding activities of youth sports teams, adult-league teams, churches and organizations – is encouraged to attend.

Valentine’s Dinner

is Saturday, Feb. 13

Couples are invited to the Community Valentine’s Dinner from 6-8 p.m. at the Trimble County Senior Building, located at the Trimble County Park, U.S. 421 north of Bedford.
