One person dies in motorcycle crash in Trimble County

Kentucky State Police Troopers from Post 5 responded to a fatal collision  at 9:38 p.m.  Wednesday, Oct. 12 in Trimble County.

The investigation revealed that Patrick Moore, 27, of Sulphur, was operating a motorcycle near the 9900 block of U.S. 421 in Milton when he apparently failed to negotiate a curve, resulting in impact with a nearby guardrail. Both Moore and his passenger, Catherine Nicole Straw (27 years old from Sulphur), were thrown from the motorcycle during impact, according to a state police news release.
