Organizations address hunger in Trimble Co.

This letter is in response to the letter in the Jan. 27 issue of The Trimble Banner.

I have been working at the Morgan Community Center since March 1997. I work with children and adults every day.

The City of Bedford allows me, along with volunteers, to distribute bread and baked goods Wednesday afternoons to the citizens of Trimble County.

Recently, the Bedford City Commission approved a Dare to Care food bank that will be funded through the Tri-County Community Action Agency. This, too, will be run by me and volunteers.
