Original Kentucky River bridge was completed 110 years ago

During the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday seasons of 110 years ago residents of Carrollton, Prestonville and surrounding environs were enjoying the excitement of having a new, state of the art bridge across the Kentucky River. Gone was the dependence on river ferries to connect east Carroll countians with those in the west.
