Carroll County’s Lady Panthers dropped their second straight North Central Kentucky Conference contest on Friday, falling to district rival Owen County 36-28 at home.
The Lady Panthers struggled offensively all evening and had trouble scoring against what Head Coach Randy Mefford called “a stingy Lady Rebel man-to-man defense.”
Senior Marissa Brindley and sophomore Hannah Devine each scored eight points and pulled down five rebounds to lead Carroll County. Owen defensively smothered Devine, holding her well below her season average.
