Panthers post shutout, win 24-0 on the road

Carroll County’s defense continued its dominance, shutting out Ludlow High School, en route to a 24-0 victory Friday night on the road. The unit has allowed just two points—none by the opposing offense—in three games.

“The defensive line had a lot to do with that because they get pressure. If you get pressure, everything else takes care of itself,” Head Coach Mike Weedman said.

Weedman highlighted the play of senior Billy Mertz, who had a number of tackles for loss in the game.
