Editor:

We would like to say “thanks” to all those involved with the Community Christmas Project Poker Run. Without businesses donating, people selling and buying raffle tickets, riders and people donating their time, there is no way we could have raised $5,200.50 for our community.

A special thanks to those who volunteered their time in some way to help with the project: Ron Partin, Judy Kemper, Paula Hanlon, Louise Jones, Barb Couch, Marcie Hulman, Kathy McBurney, Leigh Ann Roberts, Garlena Wilkerson, Tim and Amanda Marshall, Cherry Reynolds, Melanie Moss, Kathy Meadows, Brenda Wood, Sheila Reynolds, Beth Sapp, Sue Courtney, Marie Garrett, Tracy Rose and Betty Beard. I apologize if we have left anyone out. There were so many people who made this possible.

A special “thank you” to all the many businesses that donated money, show tickets, merchandise, etc. There were more than 100 businesses that donated in some way. Again, thank you.

Thanks to the 211 riders who gave up their Sunday afternoon to ride and support the kids. We had riders from Fort Knox, Louisville, Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Madison, Owen, Gallatin and Carroll counties, etc. Thank you all. Everyone made the poker run a success. We all do it for the kids.

God Bless to each of you.
