Orville T. Gibson, 47, harboring a vicious animal, dog was chained on dog owner’s property according to victim’s own testimony, victim testified his daughter was holding food and dog might have bitten her by accident, victim also testified dog had never shown signs of meanness, stated dog was not vicious, verdict, not guilty, dog to be returned to owner.

James B. Hill, 34, violation of Kentucky Emergency Protective Order/Domestic Violence Order, has another Emergency Protective Order violation on Judge Funk’s docket continued to Dec. 12.

FINAL JUDGMENTS

Michael L. Dixon, 34, pleaded guilty to first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense, a class D felony and was sentenced to five years imprisonment, fined $1,000 and court costs, said sentence is to run concurrent with the sentence he received in Carroll Circuit Court case No. 12CR00124, the court suspends the fine, court costs and public advocacy fee, the defendant was placed on probation under the supervision of the Division of Probation and Parole of the State of Kentucky for a period of five years effective Nov. 18, and is subject to their conditions, he is to serve 180 days incarceration, any cash/property bond posted may be released at this time.

Jennifer D. Burke, 28, pleaded guilty to first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense, a class D felony and was sentenced to three years imprisonment and fined $1,000, public advocacy fee and court costs, the Sheriff of Carroll County will deliver the defendant to the custody of the Department of Corrections at such location within the Commonwealth that they designate.

Lakayla R. Clay, 19, pleaded guilty to first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense, a class D felony and was sentenced to five years imprisonment, fined $1,000 and court costs, the defendant was placed on probation under the supervision of the Division of Probation and Parole of the State of Kentucky for a period of five years effective Nov. 18, and is subject to their conditions, she is to serve 180 days incarceration, any cash/property bond posted may be released at this time.

David W. Cox, 51, pleaded guilty on count one to first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense, a class D felony and was sentenced to three years imprisonment and fined $1,000; on count two he pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor and was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment and fined $500; on count three he pleaded guilty to tampering with physical evidence, a class D felony and was sentenced to five years imprisonment and fined $1,000, with said sentences to run concurrent to each other for effectively one five year sentence, a fine of $1,000 and pay court costs, the court suspends the fine, court costs and public advocacy fee, the defendant was placed on probation under the supervision of the Division of Probation and Parole of the State of Kentucky for a period of five years effective Nov. 18, and is subject to their conditions, he is to serve 60 days incarceration, any cash/property bond posted may be released at this time.

Louis G. Drake, 66, pleaded guilty to second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, a class D felony and was sentenced to five years imprisonment and fined, $1,000 and court costs, the defendant was placed on probation under the supervision of the Division of Probation and Parole of the State of Kentucky for a period of five years effective Nov. 18, and is subject to their conditions, any cash/property bond posted may be released at this time.

James Scott Foreman, 37, pleaded guilty to three counts of unlawful distribution of a methamphetamine precursor, first offense, class D felonies, and was sentenced to five years imprisonment on each count and fined $1,000 on each count, with said sentences to run concurrent to each other for effectively one five year sentence, a fine of $1,000 and court costs, the defendant was placed on probation under the supervision of the Division of Probation and Parole of the State of Kentucky for a period of five years effective Nov. 18, and is subject to their conditions, he is to serve 120 days incarceration, any cash/property bond posted may be released at this time.

David Raisor, 27, pleaded guilty on count one to first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense, a class D felony and was sentenced to three years imprisonment and fined $1,000; on count two he pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor and was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment and fined $500; on count three he pleaded guilty to tampering with physical evidence, a class D felony and was sentenced to five years imprisonment and fined $1,000, with said sentences to run concurrent to each other for effectively one five year sentence, a fine of $1,000 and pay court costs, the defendant was placed on probation under the supervision of the Division of Probation and Parole of the State of Kentucky for a period of five years effective Nov. 18, and is subject to their conditions, he is to serve 60 days incarceration, any cash/property bond posted may be released at this time.

Raisor, 27, pleaded guilty on count one to first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense, a class D felony and was sentenced to three years imprisonment and fined $1,000; on count two she pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor and was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment and fined $500; on count three she pleaded guilty to tampering with physical evidence, a class D felony and was sentenced to five years imprisonment and fined $1,000, with said sentences to run concurrent to each other for effectively one five year sentence, a fine of $1,000 and pay court costs, the defendant was placed on probation under the supervision of the Division of Probation and Parole of the State of Kentucky for a period of five years effective Nov. 18, and is subject to their conditions, she is to serve 60 days incarceration, any cash/property bond posted may be released at this time.
