I fall asleep with the TV on sometimes. Recently, I woke up just in time to hear Sen. Rand Paul tell David Letterman that the average teacher salary in Wisconsin is $89,000 for nine months’ work. I was so shocked I had to go to my computer to look it up. After checking figures on several sites (Wall Street Journal, Michelle Malkin—an extremely conservative contributor to Fox Network—and a site recruiting teachers for Wisconsin), I think it’s safe to say his number is inaccurate.
