Hundreds of children of all ages attended the Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 3, at Trimble County Park, sponsored by the Milton Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department. About 3,000 eggs were hidden for children in four age groups to find. Above, older children take off to find eggs in the main field that stretches from U.S. 421 North to one of the 4-H barns, near the new tennis courts. At right, the wind whipped nearly all the eggs to one side of the tennis courts, where the smallest children collected the plastic candy-filled eggs.
