Ecumenical prayer set for Good Friday
The Ministerial Association cordially welcomes the community to the Good Friday Ecumenical Service from 12:10-12:50 p.m. at the First Baptist Church. The Rev. Stephen Scherer will share reflections on the Passion of Jesus. Ministers from the various churches will participate as well.
Good Friday walk set for Way of the Cross
The Hispanic community of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church invites people of all faiths to the outdoor Way of the Cross on Good Friday afternoon, beginning at the courthouse on Main Street at 5:30 p.m. We will follow Jesus to Calvary where he will be hung on the cross for our sins. The walk ends at 7 p.m. at St. John’s, followed immediately with an evening service inside the church.

‘Candy rain’ to follow Easter service Sunday
The Pentecostals of Carrollton, 103 Park Lane in Carrollton, will have their Easter service at 10 a.m. Sunday. Following the service, there will be a “candy rain” for the children.
