Ribbon Cutting | J&W Korner Deli and Market

After years of being an eyesore in Sanders, the old Sanders store has been renovated and opened for business. The store, J&W Korner Deli and Market, is co-owned by Jack Ogden Sr. and Winnie Sutton. The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce joined in celebrating the opening with a ribbon cutting Monday, Sept. 10. Pictured left to right are Jim Corrado, Alma Elloway, Jim Fothergill, Terri Bartram, Winnie Sutton, Joy VanBenschoten, Jack Ogden Sr., Sanders Mayor Jack Ogden Jr., Bret Reece, Maribeth Gosser and Carroll County Judge-Executive Harold “Shorty” Tomlinson. The store is open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday and closed Sundays. The store serves hot breakfast and hot lunch plates that can be eaten in or carried out. There is also a wide variety of deli meats and groceries.
