The annual Carrollton Rotary Club/Irving Materials Inc. golf scramble will be held Wednesday, Sept. 9 at General Butler State Park. Proceeds from the scramble benefit local students through the Rotary scholarship program.
The scramble offers morning and afternoon flights with six member teams best ball format for 18 holes. Participants compete for a $600 cash prize and $300 for each runner-up team in each flight. Random drawings for other prizes are also awarded.
Team sponsorships are $450 or $75 for individuals. There are several levels of hole sponsorships available and helps Rotary continue giving educational scholarships to local students.
A lunch hosted by Carrollton Rotary Club members will be offered to everyone that takes part in the golf scramble.
