On Sept. 20, I was honored to receive the Sheriff of the Year award from the Kentucky Sheriffs’ Association. Receiving this award is a big accomplishment. Even though this is an individual award, I could not do it without the help of many people. Being your sheriff is something that I take very serious. I strive to do the best that I can and to have an office that the citizens of Carroll County can be proud of. I would like to take the time to thank several people who have been very helpful to me and the sheriff’s office.
