Special Olympics team competes in track meet

The Carroll County Special Olympic Track team coached by Margaret Walker, competed May 12, in area competition at St. Xavier High School.

The results are: Robbie Andrews, softball throw-third place; 50 meter dash-second place; Rhonda Burns, softball throw-fifth place; 50 meter walk-second place; Thomas Granger, Shot-put-third place, 50 meter dash-second place; David Gregory, softball throw-first place, 50 meter walk-first place; Amanda Hearn, softball throw-third place, 50 meter walk-second place; Zach Lynn, softball throw-second place, 50 meter dash-first place; Damon Maines, softball throw-second place, 50 meter dash-first place; Mary Pyles, softball throw-third place, 50 meter walk-first place; Clint Smith, shot put-third place, 50 meter dash-second place; Ricky Wainscott, softball throw-sixth place, 50 meter walk-first place; Heather Westover, softball throw-third place, 50 meter dash-fourth place.
