Girls offense struggles, loses to Spencer

The Lady Panthers shot just 35 percent from the field in a 50-44 road loss at Spencer County Tuesday. Lauren Moore led the team with a double-double, 17 points and 11 rebounds.

Carroll hung close in the first half, down 16-13, but were outscored 21-8 in the third quarter.

The following Lady Panthers also scored: Makena Kindoll, nine points; Doodle Amick and Tatum McIntyre, five points; Kirsten Arvin, four points; Kayla Williamson and Miranda Groseclose, two points.

 

Girls defeat Bellevue, 46-45

Makena Kindoll hit a 3-pointer and a layup to give the Lady Panthers the lead as time ran down against Bellevue Monday night. Lauren Moore iced the game with a late layup to give Carroll a 46-45 win.

Miranda Groseclose led the team in scoring with 14, followed closely by Moore, 13, and Kindoll, 11. Kirsten Arvin scored five points and Kayla Williamson scored three points.

The Lady Panthers will take on Owen County Thursday in a varsity double-header at home. The girls will play at
6 p.m., followed by the boys at 7:30 p.m.
