STLP running group hosts 5k Jan. 12

-A A +A

Tired of those numbers going up on the scale? Ready to ring in the New Year by staying healthy? There are many ways you can achieve your New Year’s Resolutions and stay in shape!

One way is by exercising! A good way to exercise is by running/walking! Our CCMS STLP group “Run 4 Your Life” is all about raising awareness so you can achieve a healthier and better lifestyle and there are many ways you can do this.

One way is to run/walk a 5k race. We will be hosting the New Year’s Run on Saturday, Jan. 12. This run will begin at 9:00 am and is free (or donations) and it will be held at the back entrance of General Butler State Park. All participants will need to meet at the shelter before the race. The route will go through the back entrance and down Lock Road.

Another way is to eat healthier.  Our STLP group has an information board set up at the downtown Subway to help you with this matter.  We have brochures, packets for children/parents, flyers for our upcoming runs, and more on hand to assist you.

Thank you for all your support and “Like” our Facebook page, “Run 4 Your Life” to learn about more helpful tips so that you can be on your way to a healthier lifestyle.
