What is your favorite thing about school and why?

“The  exciting teachers and students. When you have teachers and peers that are fun and exciting, it makes the day go by faster.”

What is your favorite subject and why?

“Science, because those were and are the classes I have the most fun in.”

What was the last book you read?

“The Shack” by W.M. Paul Young

 

What was the last movie you saw?  

“Courageous”

Where do you want to go to college?

Northern Kentucky University

What do you want to be when you grow up and why?  

“An Environmental Scientist because of the AP Environmental Science class I took as a junior with Coach Duke Boles. It was the best and most fun class I have ever taken.”

What do you like to do for fun?

“I tend to read or Skype with my friends. Friends are very important to me and communication is vital.”

Why do you think education is important?

“Education can help you with life and leadership and help train you for the workplace.”

Why was this student selected as the Student of the Week?

“Amanda is a true example of what a Champion for Kids should be. Always smiling, always helping someone out. Students come first.” - Richelle Wheeler
