What is your favorite thing about school and why?

“I like learning new things and hanging out with my friends.”

What is your favorite subject and why?

“I like math because it can challenge you to do the problems correctly, but you can always check your answer. I also like social studies because learning about the past is interesting.”

What was the last book you read? 

“The last book I read was ‘Insurgent.’”

What was the last movie you saw?  

“‘Captain Phillips’ was the last movie I saw.”

Where do you want to go to college? 

“I want to go to the University of Kentucky.”

What do you want to be when you grow up and why?  

“I want to be a lawyer because I find it interesting.”

What do you like to do for fun? 

“I like to run and ride horses for fun.”

Why do you think education is important?

“I think education is important because, without learning, there is no way you can do a job. Without a job, you cannot make any money to live on.”

Mrs. Perry nominated Lauren. She said she is a pleasure to teach. She comes to class each day prepared and eager to learn. As well as doing her schoolwork thoroughly, she is a quiet, respectful student and always ready to give her very best.
