Students take part in WKU history contest

About 850 students from 40 schools in Kentucky and Tennessee participated in Western Kentucky University’s 38th annual History Contest March 25.

The contest, sponsored by WKU’s Department of History, consisted of objective and essay examinations in Junior High American History, from colonial exploration through 1865; Senior High American History, from 1865 to the present; Junior High World History through the Middle Ages; and Senior High World History, Renaissance through the Cold War.
