The third Christmas wreath decorating contest and silent auction was held by Carrollton Federal Bank on Dec. 9 in conjunction with an open house. The proceeds from the silent auction went to Relay For Life.
All of the wreaths submitted for the contest displayed imagination and creativity. It was our honor to display the wreaths in our lobby. They were beautifully decorated and received many compliments by the public.
We would like to extend our gratitude to the following Christmas wreath decorating contest participants that competed for the $100 first place grand prize: Kelsey Noland, Lisa Noland, Greg Gosman, U-14 Softball Team, Vickie Townsend, Marlena Townsend, Jodie Kemper, Daisy Hughes, Rhonda McIntyre, Charles Sampson, Cornerstone Floral, Sharon Graves and Mindy Snyder
We would like to extend our gratitude to the silent auction participants. Congratulations to the silent auction winners.
The grand prize winner of $100.00 for our wreath decorating contest, selected by the public, was Daisy Hughes.
Our third annual wreath decorating contest was a success. We look forward to the continuation of displaying the local community talent in our lobby for the public’s enjoyment for many years to come.
We hope that it continues to grow each year with an increasing number of participants.
As part of the open house, the community joined in and was part of the celebration. The event was well attended and received. The attendees received individual gifts as well as homemade refreshments and enjoyed personal fellowship with the staff members.
The Christmas open house celebration concluded with multiple drawings. Steven Webb and W.T. Mefford each won Christmas baskets. Sue Ann Banegas won a car cleaning kit. Burlis Hudson won a scooter. Monta Jo Hudgins won a tool kit. Robin Smith won a $50 Wal-mart gift card. Brittany Carter won a $50 Kroger gift card. Wilma Mullins won a 32” LCD television.
We would like to extend our gratitude to our directors and our staff for their continued dedication, commitment and hard work they provided to make the Christmas open house successful.
