4:32 p.m. - Call comes in to Carroll County Dispatch.

5 p.m. - Carroll County Superintendent Lisa James arrives at the accident scene.

5:12 p.m. - Two helicopters are on scene. The first helicopter flies out.

5:16 p.m. - The second helicopter flies out.

5:17 p.m. - Emergency crews perform rescue tasks that sound as if they are beating on top of the bus.

5:18 p.m. - A third helicopter flies in. Workers begin to secure the bus by putting poles and ladders underneath it.

5:22 p.m. - A fourth  helicopter flies in.
