Carroll County, Trimble County, Bardstown, Henry County, and KCD faced off in a small meet on April 1 in Henry County. The weather was perfect for a track meet and several athletes set personal bests in their events, according to an email from Carroll County Head Coach Joe Craeger.

“The high school and middle schools were both in action and probably for the first time in history Carroll County had three buses at a track meet due to the huge numbers that both programs have pulled out this season,” Craeger said.

The girls team finished third behind Trimble County and Bardstown while the boys team finished second behind Bardstown. Only the top three place winners in each event scored team points.
