  • Mary Lou Stewart retired Jan. 5 from the Trimble County office of the University of Kentucky Extension Service. Stewart served as secretary for 20 years at the Extension Office and was described by 4-H Extension agent Ralph Hance as “the glue that holds us all together.”
  • Clester E. “Cletus” Mullins, 33, was charged Jan. 15 with the murder of his roommate, Steven Michael Jones, 56. Jones’ body was found Jan. 15 dumped in a ravine near the Ohio River in Milton.
