4-Hers working to raise funds for camp

Trimble County’s 4-Hers will be collecting funds for camp during a road block at the Bedford stoplight from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 16. They also will have a booth at the Community Yard Sale on May 22-23 at Morgan Community Center.

The group hopes to raise enough to cover each camper’s $30 camping fee.

City of Bedford Relay team hosts yard sale

Morgan Community Center is hosting its annual Community Yard Sale from noon to 3 p.m. May 21 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 22-23. Rental fee s $20 for all three days, $10 for one day. Proceeds benefit the city of Bedford’s Relay for Life team.

Bedford Spring Cleanup May 16-17

Spring Cleanup for the city of Bedford is set for Saturday and Sunday, May 16-17. A Dumpster will be set up at the Trimble County Middle School parking lot for city residents to use for refuse.

No tires, batteries or toxic waste materials will be accepted. City residents only.

Relay car wash, bake sale at Browning’s

Trimble County Relay for Life is hosting a car wash and bake sale starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 16, at Browning Chevrolet in Eminence.

Rotary sponsors Memorial Day event

Bedford Rotary is sponsoring a Memorial Day program on the Trimble County Courthouse lawn at 10 a.m. Monday, May 25.
