Bridge project advisory group meets April 28

The advisory group for the Milton-Madison Bridge project will meet from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, at the Historic Broadway Hotel’s Livery Stable Banquet Hall, 313 Broadway St., Madison.

The meeting is open to the community and will include brief public comment periods. Anyone wishing to speak before the PAG meeting begins may sign-up at the door. There will be additional time following the meeting for public comment.

Lane closures may add to travel time

District 5 of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will be resurfacing 1.73 miles of State Hwy. 1488 (Pattons Creek Road) and 3.64 miles of State Hwy. 2870 (New Hope Road). Lane closures and delays are possible during these projects.

County Relay for Life meeting April 28

Team registration forms are due at the upcoming Relay for Life meeting, set for 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, at Milton Firehouse No. 2. Every team must turn in their forms at this meeting.

Head Start sets Registration Fair

A registration fair is set for Trimble County Head Start/Pre¬school from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, April 24, at the office, located next to Trimble County Middle School. The programs are open to children ages 3-4, depending on family income. Staff will perform screenings and will help parents complete application and enrollment forms.
