A former state conservation officer for the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources who had the highest state fine levied against him for ethics violations has been hired as a part-time deputy in Trimble County.
An anonymous caller tipped off The Trimble Banner that Dennis Sharon, who also was a former trooper with Kentucky State Police, had been hired by Trimble County Sheriff Tim Coons.
