NEW CASTLE, Ky.—Victoria Rae Fornash Loechle, 71, of New Castle died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, at Baptist Northeast Hospital in La Grange, Ky. Services are 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 503 Fifth St. in Carrollton, with the Rev. Father Kavungal Davy officiating. Interment will be in the New Castle Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home in New Castle and from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church. Mrs. Loechle was the daughter of the late Sherman and Anne Turner Fornash. A native of Erlanger, Ky., she was a former hair stylist. She worked as the lead inspector at Jenner Engraving for 25 years.
She was a member of St. John’s Church, where she served as Eucharistic Minister. She was a loving mother and proud grandmother. Survivors include two sons, John David (Kimberly) Loechle of Crestwood and Ralph Errick (Becky Ann) Loechle of New Castle; a brother, Thomas Fornash of Carrollton; and four grandchildren, Madison, Joshua, Josef and Kara Loechle. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Les Loechle.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the American Heart Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
