The Kentucky Department of Corrections honored employees across the state at its annual Corrections Awards Luncheon held Sept. 4 in Lexington.
Officer Stacy Warren started with Probation and Parole in the Carrollton office on Jan. 16, 2012, after transferring from RCC as a classification and treatment officer.
Officer Warren supervises offenders in Carroll County, where her caseload routinely includes 120 or more offenders. In addition, she has completed numerous pre-sentence investigation reports for the Carrollton office due to the large number of PSIs that are assigned, and has assisted in the transportation of Class D inmates from the Grant County Jail to halfway houses and bus stations when they did not have a ride.
Additionally, Warren has assisted with the Class D Program in the Carroll County Jail. Even though Officer Warren has been an officer for only 18 months, she has even assisted in the training of new officers and new office staff as well as completing the firearms instructor course and taking care of the PORTAL reentry program for the Carrollton office.
Through her numerous and various duties, Officer Warren has maintained a very positive attitude toward her work, officials said in a news release announcing the award.
