Trimble County Historical Society meets at 1 p.m. in the Trimble County Public Library. Everyone is invited.

Wednesday, March 17

Senior citizens walk, play rummy or rook, work puzzles and word search but be sure to wear green. Tamara Seaman will do sugar test and speak on diabetes nutrition at 10 a.m.

Trimble CARES will meet at noon at the Family Resource and Youth Services Center, Room 209 at the Trimble County High School. for more infomation, call Denise at 502-255-5110, ext 1044.

Angel Food Ministries will take orders from 5-6 p.m. at Milton Baptist Church. Delivery date is Mar. 27 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the church. Any questions call Kate Bowling at (502) 553-5889.

Senior citizens play Bingo at Leisure Court Senior Apts. at 1 p.m.

Trimble County Public Library will hold a reception for Marlena Floyd from 6:30-7:30 at the Library.

Senior citizens walk, play rook or rummy, work puzzles at the center at Trimble County Park. Wii Bowling at 1 p.m.

Saturday, March 20

Youth League tryouts for Little League and Minor League will be held at Bedford Firehouse on March 20. Registration is at 8:30 a.m. and tryouts start at 9 a.m.

Monday, March 22

Senior citizens walk, play rook or rummy, work puzzles. Wii Bowling at 1 p.m.

Tuesday, March 23

Understanding Food Labelswill be presented at 10 a.m. at the Trimble County Extension Office on High Country Lane. Speaker is Chris Duncan of Oldham County.

Wednesday, March 24

Card Bingo at 1 p.m., H1N1 shots at Senior Center at Trimble County Park, U.S. 421 North.

Thursday, March 25

Commodity distribution from 2-4 p.m. at the Senior Center at Trimble County Park, U.S. 421 North.

Jim Pirtle and Schirmer Riley will be at the Trimble County Public Library for a book signing and author reception at 7 p.m.

Saturday, March 27

Bedford Christian Churchwill host a Soup Lunch from noon to 3 p.m. at Morgan Community Center. Menu includes soup, bread, soft drinks and desserts. Donation only for the meal; proceeds benefit the Dare to Care Food Bank.

Tri-County Community Action Agencywill hold a March for Meals 2-mile Walk-A-Thon starting at the La Grange Community Center, gym entrance. Sign up is at 9 a.m. with a $20 registration fee. All proceeds go to help support home delivered meals for Henry, Oldham and Trimble Counties. For more information, call Shirley at 255-7514.
