  Thursday, Dec. 3 Trimble County Hymn Sing is 7 p.m. at Bedford United Methodist Church. Friday, Dec. 4

Trimble County Public Library will serve gourmet popcorn and punch from 5-7 p.m. during Light Up Bedford.

Light up Bedford with Christmas themed craft booths opening at noon in the Morgan Community Center. The Rotary Club’s Chili supper starts at 5 p.m. Clinton Spaulding will entertain for those at the Morgan Center while the Trimble County Band and choir will entertain at the courthouse square and welcome Santa. Lights will be turned on and Santa will ride the Bedford Volunteer’s fire truck to the Morgan Center for more entertainment and pictures.

Saturday, Dec. 5

Angel Food Ministries will take orders from 11 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Milton Baptist Church. Menus have been distributed to Trimble County Library, Midway and Riverside. Specials can now be purchased without purchasing items from the main menu. Distribution will be from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Dec. 19. Any questions please call Kate Bowling at (502) 553-5889.

TCHS cheerleaders are hosting a Cheer Clinic from 5-9:30 p.m. for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Cost is $25 per participant; registration starts at 4:30 p.m. The theme is “slumber party,” so participants are encouraged to wear their pajamas. Dinner and crafts included. Parents may return at 9:15 p.m. for a performance. Participants will perform during halftime at the Dec. 11 basketball game. For more information, call Terralynn Marsh, (502) 255-7631.

General Butler State Resort Park will have their 1st Annual Holiday English Tea and Tour from 2-5 p.m. at the Butler-Turpin State Historic Park in Carrollton. Tickets are $5 presale, $7 at the door.

Light up Campbellsburg from 4-10 p.m. Pictures with Santa, Live entertainment, and puppet show. Lots of food, drinks and door prizes and much more in the Campbellsburg shopping center parking lot.

Tuesday, Dec. 8

Bedford Elementary School Site-Based Decision Making Council meets at 5 p.m. in the school library.

The North Central KY Goat Producers will meet at 7 p.m. at the Henry County Extension Office. Darold Akridge will teach Digital Photography 1 as a marketing tool to sell animals or other products on the internet. Wednesday, Dec. 9

Twin Oaks Assisted Living, 98 Adams St., New Castle will holdpublic forum and group discussion on Long Term Care Awareness in Kentucky at 10 a.m. State Legislators, Rick Rand and Ernie Harris have been invited. Area Agency on Aging and AARP are the sponsors of this meeting.

Trimble Senior Citizenswill hold a Christmas sale from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. There will be Christmas crafts, decoration, baked goodies and other creations for sale.

Saturday, Dec. 12

Trimble County Historical Societywill have their annual Christmas dinner at 12 noon at the Trimble County Public Library. This year will be pot-luck. RSVP to Mildred Pruitt at 255-7141.

Tuesday, Dec. 15 Milton City Commission meets at 7 p.m. at City Hall. Wednesday, Dec. 16

Make bread and take home a book from the Trimble County Public Library at 4 p.m. Ages 6-11. Sign-up required.

Help decorate a Gingerbread House at 4 p.m.   The house will be on display at the Trimble County Public Library. Sign-up required.
