Thursday, Nov. 19

Trimble County Public Library is hosting an art reception at 6:30 p.m. featuring the talent of students at the Apple Tree Studio in Bedford.

Trimble County High School Site-Based Decision Making Council meets at 3:30 in the school library.

Milton Elementary School Site Based Decision Making Council meets at 4:15 in the school library.

Friday, Nov. 20

Trimble County Health Department is providing free vaccinations (injections) against the H1N1, or swine flu, virus. Targeted groups are pregnant women; caregivers or those who have contact with infants younger than 6 months; anyone age 6 months to 24 years, especially those with chronic health issues; and anyone age 25-64 with chronic health issues. The flu-shot clinic will take place at the health department office on Miller Lane, behind the Bedford Post Office.

Saturday, Nov. 21

Trimble County Historical Society will elect officers for 2010 at 1 p.m. in the Trimble County Public Library meeting room.

TCHS Class of 1989  reunion is 6 p.m. at the Trimble County Park 4-H building. RSVP on Facebook.

Wednesday, Nov. 25

Union Grove Church hosts its annual Thanksgiving Eve service at 7 p.m. with Brother Philip Bruce, pastor, presenting the devotional. The community is invited.  

Trimble County Schools close for the Thanksgiving holiday and will reopen Monday, Nov. 30.

Thursday, Nov. 26

– Happy Thanksgiving!

Trimble County Public Library will be closed for Thanksgiving. The facility will reopen Friday, Nov. 27.

Thursday, Dec. 3 Trimble County Hymn Sing is 7 p.m. at Bedford United Methodist Church. Tuesday, Dec. 8

Wednesday, Dec. 9

Trimble County Middle School Site-Based Decision Making Council meets at 3:30 p.m. in the school library.

  Tuesday, Dec. 15 Milton City Commission meets at 7 p.m. .at City Hall.
