Thursday, Dec. 10 Trimble County Public Library After School Movie at 4 p.m. featuring Night at the Museum 2. Friday, Dec. 11 Trimble Senior Citizenswill hold a Christmas sale from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. There will be Christmas crafts, decoration, baked goodies and other creations for sale. Saturday, Dec. 12 Trimble County Historical Societywill have their annual Christmas dinner at 12 noon at the Trimble County Public Library. This year will be pot-luck. RSVP to Mildred Pruitt at 255-7141. Crossroads Church presents an “Old Fashioned Christmas Celebration” complete with Santa and Mrs. Claus, refreshments and goodie bags for children ages 14 and under from 7-10 p.m. at the church on Hwy 421N. Everyone welcome. Sunday, Dec. 13 Milton United Methodist Church will present a Christmas Musical Program at 7 p.m. Everyone welcome. Bedford Baptist Church Choir presents “Come Home for Christmas” at 7 p.m. Everyone welcome. Tuesday, Dec. 15 Milton City Commission meets at 7 p.m. at City Hall. Wednesday, Dec. 16 Make bread and take home a book from the Trimble County Public Library at 4 p.m. Ages 6-11.  Sign-up required. Trimble County Board of Education meets at 7 p.m. in the administration building. Thursday, Dec. 17 Help  decorate a gingerbread house at 4 p.m.   The house will be on display at the Trimble County Public Library.  Sign-up required. Sunday, Dec. 20 Hickory Grove Methodist Church will have a cantata at 7 p.m. Everyone welcome. Monday, Dec. 21 Trimble County Fiscal Court meets at 9 a.m. in the judge-executive’s office at the Courthouse. Bedford City Commission meets 7 p.m. at the Morgan Community Center on Victory Avenue. Tuesday, Dec. 22 Bedford Christian Church is hosting a live nativity scene in front of the church from 6:30-8:30 p.m. today and tomorrow, Dec. 23. The event will be held rain or shine. Thursday, Dec. 24 Bedford Christian Church will have it’s Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 10 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.  



Trimble County Public Library is signing up children for preschool storytime, set for 10 a.m. every Wednesday 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month. Call the library at (502) 255-7362 to register your preschooler. JCTC Trimble County Adult Education offers free GED preparation, job skills upgrade, college preparation,  brush up on academic skills, and paraeducator testing. Job Skills 101 Workshop Class meets Tuesday and Thursday 12:30-2:30 p.m. at JCTC Trimble County Adult Education, 1029 Hwy 421 N, Bedford. Call (502)255-9191 to Register - Class is limited to 7 participants and will teach the following: resume building, cover-letter writing; online job search; application processing; interviewing skills; work etiquette; and pre-employment assessment.
